However, the empirical evidence remains unclear. few studies have examined impact of this on technical efficiency in Indonesia. current study specifically investigates causal Farmer Field School Integrated Crop Management (FFS-ICM) maize production We used a stochastic frontier model propensity score matching (PSM) examine FFS-ICM production. results show that average farm 68.3%, which suggests can be further improved. PSM estimation indicates increased by 1.48%, demonstrating importance agricultural extension programmes rural areas Nevertheless, relatively small estimated raises issue cost effectiveness programme.
